Internet is becoming the backbone of the modern life. Without internet no one can even imagine today’s life. It has become the key essentiality for us today. Almost everyone of us is using the internet in direct or indirect ways. Internet was developed by the US scientists during the Second World War, to help their defense forces to communicate easily with each other. As the radio channels were prone to be punctured easily, the time saw the immediate need of a safer media. Thus internet proved as a helping hand in this purpose. Since it was developed by the defense forces, its use was limited for only defense officials. But as the need and usages of internet grew, it was declared open for the public use. Today internet is available in every country. Internet is one of the most important inventions of the 20th century. Internet serves as the major platform for day to day work today.

Many tasks are dependent on the internet solely. It becomes simply impossible to perform work in offices or at home if the internet connection is not working. We all are working and living in the era of internet. The internet is available in two modes i.e. wired and wireless. The wired connection was used earlier when the technology for wireless connection were not so developed. It restricted the user to work from a fixed location. The development of technology enabled wireless connection for the usage of internet. It gave the internet users to work from different locations. Wires were removed and a simple transmitter and receiver module was used. This helped in so many ways. With a wireless connection, a person was able to work from his or her bedroom also.
